Hi, welcome to dyingfilmmaker13's final blog.

Today is the last entry to the blog, so I'm going to talk about my experience of writing on a website to other people –supposes- to read. I’m not a social media guy; I barely use Facebook and never publish anything, don’t even have and Instagram account, so writing on a blog is a little weird to me.

Having ten entries to the blog was actually very funny, I like to read about the –almost- every stupidities that my classmates published on their respective blog profile. Maybe I always have underrated the possibilities of writing on a website and comment other ones.

Now that I think about it, I never have written in English has a way to communicate to other people, just to talk about shitty stuff that sounds so stupid in Spanish that I rather to write it in English. So finally, the last entry to the blog is actually the only one that I have no idea what to talk about, maybe because I’m in the real kk this week for all the boring stuff we’re dealing for the end on the semester.

I’m not gonna say anything else but goodbye, I have no idea if I really say anything about the topics supposes to talk today, but I have to take English IV next semester, this crazy madness isn’t over :c

Last night I watched Pride by Matthew Warchus and I really like the film. I think not just for the subject, because of the strong message that delievers, It stop me for fallen asleep (I watched like 03:00am in the morning) so that’s really difficult because I always wake up like 9 o’clock with the computer on my legs.

My favorite character was Mark, I think that the guy was very determinated with his decisions, but a little naïve sometimes. For example during his speech when the community arrives at Onllwyn, he couldn't grab the attention and move the masses like a leader should do, even if I found that his speech said nothing more than truths (because it was) like the "one in five of you is happy to see us", what a good way to appeal directly to the public. But the lack of charisma by Mark made me wonder if he really was the chosen one to lead that cause.

Besides that, I really like the movie and hate a lot of characters, at the beginning at the film when the National Union of Mineworkers doesn’t wanted to get involved with gays and lesbians associations really pissed me off, but after all that was the message to the public, the hard way of LGSM to get accepted on the society when they just wanted to help the miners.

Today I'll write about a CFG that I took this semester, it's about former chilean director Raul Ruiz. The course is taught by Carlos Flores, another chilean director and former friend of Raul. The subject is very interesting, we watch a lot of Raul’s projects when he was here in Chile, and the movies that he made when he was exiled in France.

I always wanted to watch movies of Raul Ruiz, the style of his projects it’s very different because he experimented with the cinematography’s language, so his films can turn very weird sometimes. Also during the 60’s, with the French new wave and the creation of specialized magazines about films, Raul Ruiz was praised in Europe (specially France) because of his innovated style and narrations.

Also the classes are in the Jorge Müller’s lounge, so the comfortable chairs, included with the moderate temperature and the lights going out, make it the perfect place to take a tiny sweet nap ;)

So, if you’re a film student or enjoy watching movies, I recommend to take this CFG, you’ll watch such a cool movies and take the most wonderful naps ever <3
