._english_again_.

Hello everyone! Welcome to dyingfilmmaker13’s blog.

Today I’ll talk again about my experience having English in the university. So last week I talked about the way I’d like to speak more English and practice pronuntiation in classes, but today I’ll talk about why. I’ve always love English, I started to have it in Elementary School and I always wanted to learn more and more. The thing is in High School it wasn’t so good, when I was on my last year I remeber that we had a new teacher and she started to teach us the days of the week and the months of the year. YEAH YOU READ IT RIGHT: the days of the week and the months of the year. So English wasn’t a challenge anymore.

Here in the University is not the same, when I made English III, Benjy –our teacher- always wanted us to talk, so he used to ask and ask until we answer him and then he corrected the way we spoke. I had to make a presentation in front of the whole class and even wrote an essay, I never  had wrote an essay in English without the computer. So now in English IV I actually like to do the video blogs, because I always try to make it in just one shot, it’s like a personal challenge to do it as good and fastest I can. I’ll say that found myself with English again has been really cool, even is not thaaat hard, it always was my favorite subject in School.

._we_can_do_this_better_.

Hello, I'm dyingfilmmaker13, and I believe in a better English IV.

So today I’ll have to talk about the English programmeHonestly, I have no idea what to write about, so I think I’ll mention some things I miss from English III that I’d like to do here. First of all, I always have thinking that English classes are to talk, of course you have to learn how to write to start a basic conversation, but for example, last semester we only used the computers to write our blog and not to do normal activities. Normally our classes were with a pencil and paper; we read a lot of texts and even wrote an essay. That is the kind of things I miss, I think for English IV the real deal is to speak the language fluid and smoothly, personally I like when the teachers start to ask questions to random students, because speaking is the way we can learn from our mistakes.

This semester I'd like to have more conversations, for example on Monday when we talked about money –not a great subject by the way- but we speaked the entire class, between all of us the conversation was flowing and actually, it was great. Maybe would be nice if for one class when we have to write something, we won't have access to Google Translator or WordReference, because in more than one case, it's more an obstacle rather than a real help. Maybe a presentation in front of the whole class or something, I don't know. English is the universal language, we should lose the fear of speak it and do it more often.

That's all for today, see ya next time !
