.__free_topic__.

Hi, welcome to dyingfilmmaker13’s blog

Today I have the chance to talk about whatever I want. It’s kind of hard to do it, specially when I know that people will read it (or supposes to do), I’d feel more confident to talk about any stuff if my name doesn’t appear right there in a Google+ widget (somebody use that thing?).

Having other ten entries from last semester’s blog, I’m running out of topics, so I’ll talks about the most genetic stuff that people say when you ask them about free topic: music. I remember that last semester I wrote and entry about it, and you can find it right here: https://dyingfilmmaker13.blogspot.cl/2017/05/music.html (is that counting as another word?)

Anyway, to do this entry more special I’ll talk about one of my favorites bands, Art vs. Science (even the name is cool right?). Art vs. Science it’s a… well… is a little hard to define, they are a sort of electronic band but not that electronic, maybe a little tecno or even pop, the thing is that they combine bunch of styles and create/destroy a new one.

Their songs are… demential. A strange alination of weird sounds and their voices with some crazy effects creates an stunning and eccentric atmosphere. The first time I saw the cover of their last album I immediatly understood the outlandish of the band. I really recommend this band for some people who has certain tendencies for bands like Daft Punk or Kraftwerk, who of course, are references to Art vs. Science.

And if you can, you have to watch some of their videoclips. If their songs are weird, their clips are weirdest.

Of The Edge of The Earth and Into Forever, Forever

Until next time pals.

  1. When I first read the name of the band I thought you were talking about your cfg.
I searched for them on youtube and oh man they are very strange but for some reason I love imagining you dancing to their music dressed on holographic clothes.

    1. I took the cfg thinking about it'b be related to the band. And yeah, they're strange but somehow the pace is contagious.

  4. Nice posting Sebastian. As I see it, 'free topics' are a good chance for you to let your mind run free. After reading your entry, I couldn't help recalling the days I was part of a poetry society, where we had to share our work openly, which took me a long while to achieve it as I kind of felt pretty much as you are now.
What I love about this blogging thing, is that it's sort of a little window to get to know you, and who you are as individuals...I'm amazed and amused with my students posts. Hey, nice band you've got there!
